This is probably one of the few art pieces that I actually slaved over out of all things I did the whole school year. The idea to do an oriental themed shoot came after a session that Toni (the model) and I did Thanksgiving break and since we actually planned this, I dropped $15 on a roll of B&W C41 (prints come out with a nice sepia undertone to them) and a good chunk of my time to shoot this session. There are other good shots in this session, but I picked this one for the school art show and spent a week trying to get rid of all the scratches that were on the negative due to some neglect on my part. Since a handful of people now come to Toni with modeling requests, I can truly say that I am proud of this one.

the angle is strong yet feminine
it is not over powering but it really pulls you in...
